Worldwide Anglican Communion
Anglican Church in North America

Shirley and I are so happy to have returned to Vallarta, enjoying the beautiful weather and beginning to welcome back old friends and make new ones.

The church has just moved back into the palapa and we are thrilled to see more and more people as they return to town.  Fernando Sandoval and Mary, together with Kathy Overly, did a wonderful job holding services this summer in our air conditioned chapel. “Fer” is our Deacon-in-Training, and is continuing his studies at Trinity Seminary.

We have a lot of things planned for this year in addition to our Sunday services at 10:00 a.m.

We will deliver Rosca de Reyes cakes and chocolate milk to 550 kids, and the Huichol community on January 7.

We need volunteers for this very happy day, going to three schools near the church, then out to the Huichol near the convention center.  Rides will be available.

We will begin our BB&B (Beer, Burgers & Bingo) in January, and we plan on one day trip per month, movie nights and more.

Mark your calendars for Christmas Eve Dec. 24

5:00 p.m. for caroling, then our Eucharist, followed by a grand fiesta !  Please being a heavy appetizer or dessert if you are able.  Drinks will be provided.

As we help so many in need, we appreciate donations of non-perishable food, good, clean childrens’ clothes, diapers, onesies, the little soaps & shampoos you get at hotels for the women in prison who do not have any personal hygiene items, crayons and pencils for the schools, and lined composition books.

Our super volunteer, Jan Scott, can use help at the kindergarten teaching English. No former training necessary, she has all the materials and can show you how to assist her.

“Doing something positive toward another person is a practical approach to feeling good about yourself.”

So join us each Sunday and make new friends !
