Anglican Church in North America
Open Hearts, Minds and Arms
“Each one, as a good manager of God’s different gifts, must use for the good of others the special gift he has received from God.”
1 Peter 4:10
Anglican Church Puerto Vallarta is involved in many Outreach Programs, along with our usual Sunday services at 10:00 a.m.
Many of our members say that participating in our programs is the most memorable time they spend while in Puerto Vallarta.
Once they realize that we have programs for feeding the poor, clothing drives, helping with medicines and medical supplies, they make every effort to bring things with them each year that can be distributed to the needy.
Anglican Church Puerto Vallarta began shortly after Father Jack and his wife, Shirley, sailed to Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico in 2001.
While there, they invited fellow boaters by VHF radio to join them for Eucharist aboard their sailboat, Snowbird. The group quickly grew, and they moved to a larger power boat and then to the fly bridge of an even larger power boat. In 2004 they leased and soon purchased a condo and moved the services to their patio.
